Why Winning “Best of Houzz” Matters

Last November Houzz sat down with Founder Mark Ashton to talk about the companies success, and its Best of Houzz awards – most notably what it meant being awarded Best of Houzz every year since 2014 for its Toronto kitchen and bathrooms. We were surprised to hear that slightly more than 3% of Houzz’s 2.7 million active home professionals win Best of Houzz awards each year. So it really is a select group of professionals, and we are proud to be part of that group.

Our Best of Houzz Awards are for “Service”, which we especially value, because these are our clients that have taken the time to sit down and write detailed testimonials about their experience and include beautiful photos as well. This is something we really value.

During our discussion with Houzz we explained that being part of the Houzz community was important to us, because the platform really represents who we are. Houzz places both importance on design and the customer experience. We really love that the site focuses on DESIGN with beautiful photos and wonderful ideas for everyone. The interview focused on many aspects of our experiences in the construction industry over the past 25 years, and also as a resource for Houzz to promote their Best of Houzz awards to other professional users on the platform.
