"Mark Ashton is a creative guy who also has great taste in design and decor. He helped us to come up with a bathroom which fits perfectly into our small home in Leslieville. Mark incorporated some aspects of our previous bathroom into his new design so that nothing about the new bathroom clashes with the “vibe” of our house as a whole. We are very satisfied with the end result and wouldn’t change anything about it. It simply looks and feels great and adds a lot to our home.
Mark is very upfront about costs and gave us an accurate estimate. He also gave us a good idea of how long the project would take to complete. The final cost was a bit higher than the original estimate because we opted for some upgrades and some additional plumbing in our home as the project went along. We were given estimates of the costs of these upgrades before any work on them was done, and no work was done without our approval.
The tradespeople that work with Mark, especially his brother Chris, are top-notch. The plumbers, the dry-wallers, the tilers, and the demolition people were all painstaking and worked efficiently. The job site, our house, was left clean and orderly each day. The site manager, Sinjal, kept us apprised of how the job was progressing on a regular basis. I think the main plumber, Tony, deserves a shout-out for providing us with an interim bathroom in the basement. That made our lives a lot easier.
Mark and Sinjal made periodic inspections of the work along the way. We opted for a heated floor and Mark made sure it was inspected by ESA. I have no doubt that all the work was done according to code.
