Bathroom Renovations

Your Toronto Bathroom Renovation Contractor

The bathroom is a place where you want to relax, refresh, and rejuvenate. It needs to be open and inviting with pleasant textures and colours, and should be intriguing with glass enclosures, interesting tile work, and upgraded fixtures and fittings. At the top of the list of "must haves" for most Toronto bathrooms is the thermostatic shower system. It features large shower rain heads, adjustable shower arms, and temperature control valves. These units not only create visual interest, but enhance the shower experience.

Glass enclosures for showers are also a definite upgrade to curtains. They visually expand the size of your Toronto bathroom and allow for a more illuminated and open shower. Today, Schluter waterproof membranes for tiled showers virtually eliminate past problems associated with leaking showers; stand alone furniture grade bathroom vanities both increase storage and accentuate style in the bathroom; dual flush toilets improve water efficiency; and jacuzzi tubs with aeration and chroma therapy lighting add to the bathing experience and luxury feel of your bathroom.

Putting all of these and other elements together into a working bathroom can be challenging. The selections available for your space can sometimes be overwhelming. Ashton Renovations can help make this task easier. We can assist you with your main bathroom, or ensuite, and fashion a design suitable for your home and tastes.

Chaplin Estates Toronto Main Bathroom

They included a wall hung toilet, matte black finishes with wood accents, wall niches, globe lighting, and soaker tub for the basement washroom. The upper floors featured open entries to the showers along with thermostatic shower units. All bathrooms were fitted with Nuheat heated floor units with wifi signature thermostats.

Downtown Toronto Condo Main Bathroom

This original bathroom was in need of repair due to required replacement of Kitec plumbing supplies in the building. Although the footprint of this bathroom remained the same, upgrades were made to the waterproofing in the shower along with a built in niche. The addition of wall tiles as a feature wall with live edge off centre shelving contrast nicely with the backlit LED mirror placed above the wall hung vanity. Cement hexagon tiles in this bathroom also give the space a nicely added touch of many geometric shapes.

Contemporary Ensuite Bathroom Renovation
In Riverdale

This contemporary ensuite bathroom renovation in Toronto’s Riverdale district was typical for the area. Most of the plumbing was not to code and needed a major overhaul. The same layout was utilized, but with the exception of making the shower smaller to build a larger closet in the bedroom. The bathroom design involved many contemporary elements including a straight inlay tile design on the floor and quartz products that were used in the shower, tub, and vanity top. The space includes a drop in tub, glass enclosure, and heated Ditra Heat floor.

Traditional Luxury Bathroom Renovation
In Toronto Condo

The goal for this luxury bathroom project was to create a contemporary guest bathroom with elements of English Country design reflective of the rest of the home’s décor. The bathroom features a beautiful wall hung vanity with curved front doors and fluted side columns along with an oval marble countertop with under-mounted sculpted sink. It also features hand-painted doors of Phalaenopis Orchids in blue and white cache-pots, as an English Country design element. The Venetian wallpaper and complementing Fortuny-style hand-painted motifs on the ceiling add a textured element to the bathroom. A single-piece mosaic tiled floor with accompanying mosaic baseboard add elegance and complement the hand painted motifs, and wallpaper. The dual LED shower potlights highlight the shower, and bring symmetry on either side of the rain-head. This bathroom also has other typical elements of a luxury space: Heated Flooring, Sliding Glass Enclosure, and Upgraded Fixtures.
