We have offices in Richmond Hill, and Toronto, and service the entire Greater Toronto Area. Our north location is situated in Black Bank, just 30 minutes south of Collingwood and west of Barrie.

Ashton Renovations is a 2016, 2019, 2020, 2022, & 2023 NKBA award winning kitchen & bath design firm. We are licensed in the City of Toronto, registered and covered under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, and carry 5 Million Liability Insurance (construction industry specific).

Meet Our Team

Mark Ashton, AKBD, CLIPP, B.A., B.A.S. (Mgmt.)

Kitchen & Bath Designer

Mark is a graduate of York University and holds both a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, and Business Administration. He is also a former student of the George Brown College accredited Construction Project Management and Estimating program and an active member of the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association). He is also a certified Associate Kitchen & Bath Designer, and CLIPP Certified (Certified Living in Place Professional).

Mark has addressed the everyday common complaints heard by homeowners: lack of reliability and professionalism, poor workmanship, and improper product installations. From the outset, he has developed a clear vision for Ashton Renovations, and sought the best, and most experienced trade contractors, and has also developed a renovation process that is completely digital, and innovative.

Mark has over 15 years of experience as a renovation trade carpenter and over 10 years as a project manager and kitchen and bath designer.

Chris Ashton

Project Manager/Renovator

Chris has worked for over 15 years in residential construction in various areas including landscaping, painting, and renovations. He has worked on well over 200 construction projects and has extensive experience assisting with renovating kitchens and bathrooms.

Dave Degryse

Renovator

With over 25 years of experience working alongside his father as a landscape contractor, Dave has extensive renovation and project management expertise. With hundreds of successfully completed construction and landscaping projects, Dave has both an exceptional attention to detail and a vast understanding of project management.

Dana Del Rosario

Office Administration

Dana has been with the company since 2017 and works behind the scenes organizing the administrative activities of the business including our bookkeeping and billing. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph and is a valuable part of the team keeping the office organized and running smoothly.

Andrew Ashton

Administration & Job Site Assistant

Mark's son Andrew has been assisting his father with Ashton Renovations for many years now. His flexibility allows him to assist with business administration as well as onsite duties. In the office, Andrew helps with financial bookkeeping and organizational upkeep of tools and materials in storage. At job sites, he does a range of tasks that contribute to the renovation process of the company. In addition to his excellent organizational skills, his interest in art is reflected in his studies and fuels his creativity.

Teresa Chen

Interior Designer

Our clients are always excited after meeting Teresa and discussing their projects. With a University degree in interior design, she specializes in kitchen and bath product selection and is extremely passionate about design. She believes that each space is unique and should reflect client preferences with optimal spatial arrangements. Teresa always provides the best expert advice with a wide range of options that our clients need, and that’s why she is part of the Ashton Renovations Team.

Will Galego

Tile Setter

Will has over 15 years experience as a tile setter and received extensive training from his father starting from a very young age. His father, who we refer to as "Mr. Galego," has over 45 years of experience setting tile, and often still works with Will. Their experience and knowledge of setting tile, to say the least, is truly outstanding. Will is also a former student of George Brown College accredited Construction Management Program, and as a result, has an insightful understanding of the residential construction process.

Marcos Maldonado

Fine Carpentry

Marcos is originally from Brazil with an IT background. He founded Prime Trimworks over 5 years ago and has been helping Ashton Renovations ever since then with our Fine Carpentry work. Everyone loves their craftsmanship. There is nothing they can't do, as they specialize in finish carpentry, often on high-end homes in the GTA. We love their work and they always bring great ideas and tricks of the trade to our projects.

Kaushal Thakkar

Professional Engineer

Kaushal Thakkar at Fiable Consulting is registered with PEO & EGBC and has rich experience as a construction project engineer & civil/structural engineer. In addition, he specializes in project management & design for oil and gas, industrial, commercial, heavy industrial, and building sectors. Given his extensive abilities, he is an integral part of the business as he helps with all building permits and structural advice. He has diversified international experience in Canada, the Middle East (Gulf), and Indian subcontinent with strong fundamentals and leadership qualities. He has a solution-oriented approach and subject matter expertise in coordinating large-scale projects about structural analysis and design. He is also self-motivated and an excellent team player with an emphasis on timely delivery and safety.

Kostas Petsis

Licensed Electrician

Kostas has worked on countless projects with Ashton Renovations for over 20 years. We even remember our first job working together, which was located in Cabbagetown. Kostas has extensive experience working in the older homes of Toronto and also has 3 years of architectural training at Ryerson Univerity. Initially, Kostas started working for Ontario Hydro in the planning department before then moving on as a Lineman. He is of Greek descent, enjoys going to the gym in his spare time, and loves travel (especially in Germany).

Michel Pedroso

Licensed Electrician

Michel has a long-standing relationship with Ashton Renovations and works alongside our Master Electrician (Kostas). Michel is a Licensed Electrician and has resided in Canada for the last 10 years. Originally from Cuba, Michel has a University background in Social Communications (Specialized Marketing). We love Michel working for the company with his upbeat attitude and friendly smile! He is very detailed in his work and cares about getting things right on the project. Michel is a loving father to two girls and loves the Blue Jays. Of course, he is from Cuba!

Alex Lianos

Licensed Plumber

Alex is our licensed plumber and has been helping us along with Tony at Plumbrite for the last 15 years. Alex is originally from Greece, and his youth and positive energy add to the amazing group dynamics on our sites. Plumbing, along with the other structural trades, is a vital part of our renovation process. We can count on Alex and his team at Plumbrite to always do things properly, and fix up all the issues we encounter in some of our 100-year homes, as well as bring them up to today’s standards.

Thuy Tran

Cabinet Designer

Thuy at Concore is our first choice for cabinet designs for our clients. With a diploma in Interior Design from Sheridan College, a Certificate Degree in Photographic Techniques from Humber College, and long-standing experience with our company, we at Ashton Renovations value her commitment to providing clients with the best customer service and high-quality products for their Kitchen and Bath cabinetry. We appreciate the business collaborative approach which provides subliminal service and an overall pleasant experience for clientele!
