Last Saturday, February 8, 2020 the NKBA held its Gala Celebration to honour the 2020 Design Competition Winners in Toronto. This year the theme was “winter wonderland” and guests of over 300 members gathered among colleagues for great food, stories, and music. It’s always a lot of fun to get together with the other designers and many suppliers in the industry. Everyone that has something to do with the Kitchen & Bath industry is there. They really are a great bunch of talented people, and we appreciate their support they provide us through the year. One of the presenters commented that what we do is “make peoples homes beautiful”.

One of the sponsors was BLUM and they had a really cool ice sculpture on everyone’s table! I liked touching that. LOL We also met up with one of our designers, Pukar Risal. We appreciate his contribution to our clients very much and all the wonderful 3D Renderings he produces.
The vision for this older uptown Toronto home, which needed 3 bathrooms renovated, was to create a modern minimal design with luxury items. They included a wall hung toilet, matte black finishes with wood accents, wall niches, globe lighting, and soaker tub for the basement washroom. The upper floors featured open entries to the showers along with thermostatic shower units. All bathrooms were fitted with Nuheat heated floor units with wifi signature thermostats.
