Toronto Beaches Patio Door Installation
Often the older homes in Toronto have a combination of a window and door to the back of the house. We remove these units and reframe the opening to accommodate a patio door, which dramatically increases the light coming into the kitchen. In this particular renovation the client added a new small deck with glass railings that would not interrupt the light coming in.
TIPS
- Add internal blinds to your patio door
- Try to select a standard unit that is not special order. This will keep costs down and also avoid delays
- Make sure that the flashing and siding outside are redone to avoid any leaks
Toronto Galley Kitchen featuring Patio Door with Blinds
The back room of this Toronto Kitchen Renovation had a window to the back and a door to the side. By removing them we substantially increased the functionality of the kitchen and increased countertop space. The room also feels much more connected to the back deck and garden.
